    That was a standard order. Almost all the bunkers in this area are blown up. A little downhill were a few .30 cal and .30 M1 casings to be found and between the empty clips we found some lemon juice rations and on the other side a US jerrycan, so they must have stayed around the bunker for a while. The flag you have there is a very nice Aachen relic! Do you have some more info about it?

    Nice article Bart and nice finds

    The chechz weapon finds are nice and is indicative of this stage of the war when the Germans were struggling for resources. You guys were lucky to find such a pletheora of items in an area that has been well gone over in the past few years. Gives us all hope that nice finds are still out there.

    The personal items e.g the pouches and broach are a really nice find.
