Day 1 - USAAF airbase dump. A great turn out from the RRPG members with the following people there....

A great day, if a little wet. My finds, pre-cleaning, below.



There were some truly amazing finds, one being made within 5 minutes of the day starting and on the surface !!!

Day 2 - British army dump

In attendance on the wettest and windiest day of the year;

Despite the weather, some good finds were made. Watch this space for lots and LOTS of finds !

As well as the two sites visited, 4 members of the RRPG also went to a WW2 bombing range. The finds made there were also superb !

Yep certainly was a good day albeit wet...

Cleaned up the bit I didnt recognise at the time... anyone?

Is hollow inside, appears to be hinged down one side and had a locking mechanism at the top. Before I give it the vinegar treatment thought I would see if anyone could tell me what it actually is?

Had a great time especially at the usaaf dump and many thanks to Steve for sorting it out ,didn't have too many finds but had a couple of items that really pleased me !
