    great and impressive finds. i like the german cross in the wood. i have nevere seen such a thing. does it have had a function or is it just for showing off

    Yes, Kestenga is about 1100 km from Saint-Petersburg. Not for everyday digging
    SS-helmet on the photo is`nt from Kestenga, I have found it in Demjansk region.

    I`ve seen two svastics in this place, but another stump with the same svastic I casually hurt by foot and have destroyed it

    Classic Arty position with the shell cases and shell case carriers but what the cutting contraption is i've no idea !!!

    Great photos of cool finds.

    I have spent much time in the Sevastopol region of Crimea, and was always worried/cautious about unexploded ordinance such as shells, grenades, mines, & etc when exploring places where there was heavy fighting because of such hidden things.

    These grenades, mines, shells, mortar rounds that you show: Are they not "unpredictable" and present a danger?
