This morning i hit the airfield it was very windy and cold, i was hopeing for a few .50cals.Wish i could have spent a bit more time searching but i have to be at a mates for 2pm

Steve, Are those bomb nuts?

A different tube hair shampo

and 2 coffman cartirdges


Will be going out tomorrow for another search

Yep. Transport nuts used to 'fill' the hole for the fuse in an aerial bomb, before the fuse was put in place.

Nice find I like the Coffmans too
