Camera battery's on charge, phone will be on charge later, boots are out, as are the digging tool, gloves and secateurs. Flask will be made up in the morning.

Hopefully some one will be able to lend me a detector for a while, but I'll be there anyway.

And you're not the only one who hates early mornings Simon!

Ian, I have another spare detector that you can borrow if you want ? It is only a £50 maplins one, but it does work.

Hi Simon.

The only reason I dug the secateurs out was because something that Tim said in an earlier post about a mess of brambles being on part of the site.
Just got to find my small daysack now!

BTW. What batteries, and how many, does your spare MD take, just in case I have to change them out?
