    After many months I decided to go out in the fields and here's the few inert things I found.

    one 81mm tail
    a british tin can to be identified
    an "UDO" and 2 Mills caps
    an italian grenade ring and an unidentified brass pin
    a mix of spent cases from ww1 and ww2
    a spent fuse to be identified

    no badges or buttons unfortunately

    The tin looks like one for Gibbs Dentifrice (tooth powder).

    Nice finds zeller. I can confirm what PB says. The tin is the bottom half of a 'Gibbs Dentifrice' tooth powder tin. I have attached a picture of a whole one dug in the UK for you to compare it to Standard 'issue' to the British soldier.

    I like the mix of cases as well.

    Thank you guys and thanks Steve for posting your powder tin. It is amazing how that tin stayed in the soil and was virtually intact after 65 years
