Some of you may remember this P47 barrel sleeve from last year. It was bent twisted and broken in half well i finally got round to giving it a smack with a hammer.
As you can see its far from perfect but much better than it was.

Gave the bomb shackle a scrub up today as well.

Another P47 barrel sleeve. As you can see its well bent and twisted but unlike the last one it is compleat.

It's not so bent and ugly any more. It took ages to beat it and heat it but I got there in the endI suppose you could tinker around with it some more but I'm happy as it is.

Thanks Harry I'm really happy with it!
The pictures I've added show it with a collar I found last year that also took quite alot of beating back to shape.
Also I've added some ammunition tracking from a fighter most Likely a p47 allso a find from a year or so ago.
