A couple more bits I picked up yesterday can any one ID them? I feel I should know what the little thing is with the hole in but can't think. And the large piece looks like a nose fuse???

Thats a "kidney" plate affixed to bombs ,it should give data of the type of bomb it was affixed to,,i cant see yours to clearly (old eyes) but it looks like a MC 1000lb bomb

Yeah that's right it is off a 1000lb er.
Shame about the big crack in the middle of it but at least it's compleat.

Looks like the nut from a turn buckle. Is the hole threaded? could match this clamp on ebay at the moment

Shame I didn't root around your 'to clean' box. Found 3 kidney plates myself a few years back. They should be dated......mine were all post war unfortunately
Another bit out of the box with a data plate, any help would be great!
