Went out to a new area the other week and found a couple of bits. Goose neck inspection torch was prob the best find of the day

I found such red covered toggle switches still on the instrument panel (left side) of a P-47 recovered in Germany, so the item is def from WW2 period. Danny

Hi every one,
It's been a long time since I have been out digging! Life has become quite busy for me so the time is just not there any more.
I'm still collecting and always picking up bits and bobs this is my last purchase. It's an original practice bomb. I've been after one for as long as I can remember but they just never come on the market so this is quite a rare find.

WOW that was a great read and also some awesome items found. I'm a 384th BG fan! Do you guy's have anybody digging in that area???? I'm part of the 384th Nex Gen Association and would love to see any item found there in Grafton Underwood airfield. My Uncle was stationed there and was a tailgunner in the B17's that flew out of there. My avatar is a pic of him.
