Hi Sebastien:
You have been doing some great digging. You must have
a "Lucky Shovel". Great finds, keep posting pictures of
your finds.
Thanks,
Bob
At the weekend I with my friends were digging near the village of Gorodisсhe.
Excavations were interesting, but finds no joy. We dug up any German bunkersand we found a hatchet for deminers, chair, fragments of motorcycle goggles and other less interesting.
That's the way it goes Sebastien sometimes you hit lucky and sometimes you don't or sometimes someone has been there before you !! at least the weather looks good

Again, an unexpected finding, which is not very happy.
Today I was working near the village Gorodisсhe.
I and my friend found a German bunker in which were buried by German soldiers. They had no dog tags, but they were wearing uniforms Wehrmacht.
Good find Sebastien, at least now they will get a
proper burial. If they had Wehrmacht uniforms but not
dog-tags, could they have been HIWI's?? Russian
volunteers that helped the Wehrmacht?
Tks,
Bob
Why not. I thought about that too.
The bunker had not yet fully excavated, there are a few buried soldiers of the Wehrmacht. I will dig, but later.

Today I was digging next to my university, in a ravine where they were German and Romanian army units.
The weather was bad, occasionally going to rain .
To dig the weather is good, but today I did not have the correct uniforms
Finds a little, it's sad.
Sebastien have you contacted the Volksbund or Galina Oreshkina about the recovery of the German bodies ?

Excellent , if you keep this work rate up I believe you will come across some very rare and valuable items. Do you know of any possible locations to dig where the croatian forces fought battles in stalingrad?
