    I have photos of Officers and some some NCO's at Stalingrad wearing Reichswehr era caps / belt buckles etc , all types of items from many different periods can be found !!

    Correct. We often find Reichwehr E-tool as well. Not to mention Bren carrier wheels(from Lend-Lease) and so forth.

    Regarding the aircraft part..99 on the Allied side could be Bristol Beaufighter or P51 Mustang!!!
    So with the dark primer, I am leaning towards German!
    Does it have the remains of fabric covering?

    Quite likely the same way I've seen so many Polish uniform buttons also dug in Stalingrad...

    Hello guys ...
    I'm sorry, I'm working and I have little time to dig ...

    This weekend my friend and I again walked on surround back positions of the Red Army, it is near the village. Erzovka is north of Stalingrad. This 66 army they fought with 14 Panzer Corps....

    Again we found the helmets ...

    The first was a SSH-39
