    Wow...a ground dug buckle that looks like This? Clean it up a wee bit and it could still be Used! Nice find!

    During the war, there were low-rise residential buildings.At the edge of the pit I found traces of the old cellar. The first finds were fragments of old dishes, even the time of the early 20th century...

    Also in this pit were human remains. Maybe it's a German soldier, I do not know, we found only the upper torso, the rest of the body dug Excavator...

    Fantastic finds. Makes me happy to see this being taken care of.
    Collect ROA, Cossack, Schuma and other WW2 Volunteer militaria.

    That's all. The chief engineer gave me only three days, so I could explore there ... I am very grateful that I had the opportunity ... very sorry that the finds in such a bad condition

    Amazing how some items stay so well preserved while others don't...
    Judging by the photograph of Mamayev I can understand why it was important for both sides to capture and hold it...It's a very commanding position.
    You don't use a metal detector, do you?
    I wish you continued good luck and we all appreciate your updates from Stalingrad...!
