    any helmets or MG?
This is a very rare find for the city ... after fighting a lot of people were in town and they were collecting weapons and military equipment ...I want to say that the state of metal in a very bad condition ...

In theory: this German machine gunner (soldier from 517 Infantry Regiment of 295 Infantry Division) could be killed by a sniper Vasily Zaytsev In the future, I'll tell you why
But I think the German soldier was careful on this position
He lost his pant (I found the buttons and pieces of skin from the shoulder straps), but he has not lost his helmet and MG

Awesome finds. The condition of the BWB is stunning.
Looking for the photo albums of Leutnant Emil Freitag, 3. / G.R. 377

The BWB must surely have been wrapped in something secure or inside a box? I can't imagine it surviving in such condition simply laying in the soil.
