    The paratrooper book is written by an author who writes very good books, and they sell out very quickly often before they are printed, now the sell for three or four hundred dollars if you can even find one

    Yesterday was very warm ... about -1 degrees Celsius. (30 Fahrenheit).
    But when we dug up the body of the soldier was - 10 degrees Celsius (14 Fahrenheit)... and there was a strong wind ... brrr....

    But my nuts in order ... you know that I know how to dress warmly ...

    we remember the sad experience of German soldiers

    I love seeing the photos of the balkas these days and try to imagine what is was like 'back then', in living colour unlike the sanitizing black & white images of the time.
