Thanks fo ryour posts regarding the MIA's

I watched the excellent RT television short documentary last night ~ "Hero Detectives" ~

I gain great pleasure from returning Soldier Identity tags to families but have little chance of every identifying soldiers identity missing in action as ours was a training and rehabilitation site /area ~

    Hero detectives

World War II took millions of human lives, leaving many homes devastated with grief. Six million Soviet soldiers went missing in the war, seemingly lost to their loved ones forever.

But now, groups of enthusiasts eager to find their unmarked graves are searching former battlefields for their remains.

Join RT to see how the “lost hero detectives” help relatives of soldiers find closure and say their last goodbyes.

    hi Sašo
On the photo you can see that we have very different soil.
From a very hard clay to sand.
Now spring and the soil is soft. But here can be problem, it's wet clay which sticks to the shovel)))

Interesting paper! It seems the Germans were either printing papers or still flying papers into the Kessel in mid January 1943? Almost right at the end!

I think on this piece of paper was a a billboard of the theater.

We have found documents with the date of January 17, written by hand. In the headquarters bunker 389 Infantry Division. Photos is in this topic.

Today, I was walking with a metal detector.
I tried to find a new place to dig. North of Stalingrad.

    Nothing interesting ...
