    Yesterday we were back at the crash site...

    Tag. The plane was made July 20, 1942. The plant №21, it is the Gorky aircraft plant

    Unfortunately, we found little bit airplane of fragments to determine the fate of the pilot

    Today we were in the north of Stalingrad. "Nordriegel"

    Once again, we find traces of the crash of the Soviet aircraft.

    At night, we found thr base plate of 120 mm Soviet mortar.

    It was hard work dug up this big staff

    2011, we dug large bunkers in the ravine near Gumrak... Do you remember the big bunker? page 60 #595 ...
    there were found burning documents 517 Inf. Rgt. This 295 Infantry Division.

    And when I saw on еbaу section "photo" photos of this division in Stalingrad... I determined one location immediately

    A few days ago I had the time to visit this place and take a picture.
    Camera angle has distinction, but details you can compare.

    Good day guys.

    Yesterday evening after work. I had a few free hours to go into the ravine near village Gumrak...

    I had fortune and found a small hole. There are various military staff were thrown.
    ...pick axe, body from lamp, german ammo pouch (but there were soviet bullets 7,62x54R) , bayonet for Mauser rifle and plastic canteen cup

    I congratulate you on 71th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War!

    The 9th of May will stay in our memory as the day of national proud for russian people.

    Yesterday we evacuated the base plate of 120 mm Soviet mortar from a field.
    In the future it will be used for reconstruction of hostilities

    After that we walked around nearby fields.

    Good weather, clean air... we used free time for relaxation
