    Andrey , this thread never ages or gets tiresome . It gets much attention and is a credit to you . There are many members here on the WRF who would love the opportunity to be involved in this activity Keep up the good work my friend and please keep posting ....i am a regular reader !!

    Thank you for kind words friends!

    You know my success is very changeable... but I do not lie to you, this year has been good for my excavations.
    I have several interesting finds and I will show you during cold winter months

    Your thread was one of the very first that I ever "followed" and it is still on the list! About the only frustrating thing is, that we can never Buy any of the treasures you unearth! lol

    Very nice helmet that you found Sebastien. It cleaned up very nice. The cartridge case is in very good condition
    for all those years underground ! Even the maker and 1940 date is just as it was made in 1940.
    Thanks so much for the work that you do in and near Stalingrad. I and almost all of the guys on this forum
    really appreciate what you do and for all your postings to this thread.

    Last summer I had not much time to dig

    it was a free day and I went to the north of Stalingrad - Orlovka point.

    a few days later I back there ...

    on the field, I found a place where a Soviet tank burned (I think it was the T-34 and KV-1)
    I found a fragment of a burned disc to Degtyaryov machine gun (DT-29) and another piece of metal

    spring and summer this year has been a lot of rain so we had a very tall grass on fields

    here's a video that's my answer

    LW container as a brazier

    bayonet Boucher as a machete

    bowler and shells 10.5 cm as a feeder for rabbits
