mid-October 2016 ... my visit to the north of Stalingrad... or Nordriegelstellungen as it is called by the Germans of 14 Panzer Corps

I walked around big balka (ravine) Suhaya Mechetka

also I found a piece of the tank tracks KV-1 that was destroy





and battledamaged RGD-33





After this trip, I was no longer there.
more time to center of KESSEL and area of the village Gumrak

my first visit on fields next to the famous airfield PITOMNIK



evening October,

after several hours of walking I found the first artifact from the Luftwaffe - steel belt buckle

but in bad condition
