German dog tag belonged to a soldier of a cavalry battalion 2. KAV. ERS.ABT. 11
I do not know what the division had the battalion, can my friend Matt says more.
It's interesting, next to the dog tag I found spur .
Could also be from 24 Panzer Divison , previously 1 Kavalrie Divison , known as the Leaping Horseman !!
The gates of hell were opened and we accepted the invitation to enter" 26/880 Lance Sgt, Edward Dyke. 26th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers , ( 3rd Tyneside Irish )

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

These excavations were again in late November.
The temperature was quite warm for this month of the year. Generally the weather is very strange, global warming is probably true ...
I found the Soviet helmet. This helmet (steel helmet model 1939) is an early model with three rivets attaching liner.

    Hi everyone!
Recently My friend dug up some spare parts from the German military vehicles.
I think that this is the spare parts from the armored SdKfz-251 or, SdKfz-10.
Maybe you know? Please help me to identify in details.
