    Hi Sebastien

I donŽt know. His dogtag says "1 kav ers abt 11" and some other papers says
"he.pi.batl.742". IŽve read somewhere that this batallion was at some point in Poland. I read in your thread that "2 kav ers abt 11" was in Stalingrad and I know from my grandfathers biography that he escaped in a boat from Russia in May - 45.
Do you know where 1. kav where stationed or where I can find out?

    /Andreas

I have the eagle for the cap somewhere. The cap is not in very good condition.
