    Sigh.. Total score of summervacation 2008..

    Been with forummember 'Warhunter' to Southern Belgium and Northern France.

    The EK II and French fireman helmet are from an local antique shop in our search area. About the findings: Some of them are found with the MD and some are found laying on the ground.



    List of best finds.

    - 3 German stahlhelmets 1915 model
    - 1 German gasmask - Eye find! (1935 marked)
    - 2 French bayonets (1 already cleaned)
    - 1 M1910 canteen
    - 3 French canteens
    - 'Foreplate' pickelhaube (Bavarian)
    - 1 POW ID (Allied)

    And hundreds of small finds (coins,bullets,card schrapnel, buttons etc.)

    Very nice findings!, thanks for sharing, here my “findings” of my last vacation, the Luftwaffe 18 round flare gun ammo pouch I purchased from a friend, the Luftwaffe blue over painted gasmask canister was a local flee market find.

    Thanks for the compliment, the pouch is in well used but original/honest condition. Your finds are even greater because you found them your self and didn’t have to pay for them, that’s why I like the Luftwaffe gasmask canister perhaps “more” then the flare pouch because I found it me self on a flee market and only paid 2 euros for it, the rubber strap was on it and it seems that it belongs to it due to the fact that it has bin on the canister for a very long time, its perhaps nothing special but I like honest used stuff like this canister.
