Article about: Can anyone help identify the ordnance: I have found several of them in the same area in the Hurtgen. The pics are detailed in my album. Any suggestions would be helpful Rgds John

    its like a bomb fuze.

    I also think it is a fuse but not one that I can identify

    I dont know if it was from German or American munitions

    Hello,

    this looks like the remains of a US Bomb Nose Impact Fuze, most likely: M103, AN-M103 m M105 or M163.
    All of these types have the cup and vanes, like your's.
