Unknown metal piece

Hello,

a friend of mine found the following piece in a forest near Braunau am Inn.
It shows "WaA D11" or "WaA 011", but I couldn't find anything related to one of this codes.
Can somebody tell me what this plate is? I've got only this pic.

Could you get a better photo of the Waffenamt please? i've tried blowing the picture up but it's quite low resolution!...

I'm sorry for the late answer. My camera isn't the best, so better pics of the WaA are not possible, the letters are too tiny. I'm quite sure it shows "WaA 011".
It's made of aluminium and just half as big as my hand.

A strange one 11 without the 0 prefix is Rheinmetall Maget Berlin who produced the MG 34 and MG 42!....

Maybe it's a weird "D11"? But I couldn't find any Waffenamt numbers with a "D"...

The only 11 with a letter prefix i can find is C11 which is Draht- u. Metallwarenfabrik GmbH., Salzwedel.

A well known german forum told me, it could be from a (maybe) secret project or something like that, that would explain why the code is nowhere to find.
