Hello are you certain it's ordinance? It somewhat looks like a input shaft from a transmission or perhaps some other motorized part? Just thinking out loud. Best regards.

They are quite common in the German Woods. Be carefull - if you unscrew the bottom it is attached by a string, and will fuction like a handgrenade....!
It is a riffle grenade but if it is fired or not it is hard to tell. Anyway - do not try to open it because such stuff is extreemly dangerous (and also illegal).

Nice find,- You should consider checking out nearby ponds and marshes. Such places can give you some nice gifts if you are not afraid of getting dirty.
