    Hi all

Well, I was passing by and had a few minutes spare so I stopped off at the WW2 USAAF bombing range to see if there was anything else left on the surface.

Suffice to say, once again, I had to leave early due to the sheer weight of stuff recovered by just walking along the edges of a field !!!

This is a quick thread really, not had time to take a picture of everything I picked up. All I'll say is that I had 30+ AN-M104 fuzes and a couple of other bits and bobs, the nicest of which was an AN-M103 fuze with the lower vane and spindle still in place

A few examples of the 30+ AN-M104s I picked up.

The best find of the day......well 20 minutes. A very nice AN-M103 with the top spindle and some of the vanes still attached.

Great finds, Steve. You must have a good collection of those fuzes now. How about welding them up into a modern art sculpture for the garden? Cool, man.

LOL !!! It's a big enough pain cleaning them let alone welding them into the shape of a Spitfire !

Here's most of the others, after cleaning. Distilled vinegar is just so good at cleaning these things......Got a few more in for soak but not bad for a quick trip
