    Rotax panel ..
    Possibly a remote generator/starter unit or accumulator ?

    Polski may be geading in the right direction will generator ect +/- may indicate an remote starter with provision for + or - earth charging or booster starting, one of the guys that works at the same airport as me says its reminisant of what we now call a gound power unit control.

    but he hasnt seen that exact type before.

    Nice finds all i can say is sorry about your car and maybe the theif suffers from a bad case of halitosis as do most sewer scum.I know its not everyone on the dole but sometimes instead of buying fags and strong skunk cannabis they should buy a toothbrush and toothpaste then they may get a job! one day!

    Steve, i hadnt seen this before, but im thinking the "dashboard" comes off a generator booster for starting aircraft

    The Rotax dashboard is identical to the dashboard from an MG 'M' Type, other than the fact that it doesn't have 'MG' on it, thus I suspect it is from a Morris of some decription

    Unfortunately I can't post a link as but if you Google images 'mg m type dashboard' it is the first picture that comes up.
