Hi and thanks to all first for helping me out. I have researched this one but am confused. Some of these If I am right were turk but some were not. So what is this one ,model age etc...
    thanks so very much.
It is marked on the blade as WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER A.G. oberndorf a.N and on the back edge is crown W17. But what confuses is the length. the blade is 14 1/2 inches long. Also tell me what you guys think about it. Also the sheath is marked with the crown and 130 also looking on the end of the handle there is a mark too.

The piece looks like german SG98/05, made by Waffenwerke Mauser, the blade was blued and not properly sharpened.best regards,Andy

If the bayonet is blued, it means it was used after the war.
    Original baldes are bright polished.

blued means that the bright steel was treated at the factory to be dark blue in color so as to protect the steel and make it not shiny. The finish of a pistol is usually blued, to give you some example of what we're talking about.
