    Hi guys,
    Could anyone help me identify this bayonet?
    Location: Australia
    Blade length: 38.5 cm (15.15 inches)
    Overall length: 51 cm (20.07 inches)
    Serial number: 2237
    A 0 (as seen on the metal part with the loop on the top bit of the handle)

    Looks like there was marks on the bottom of the handle, but it has faded.

    What you have there is a Brazilian model 1934 Mauser bayonet. It would have had a leather and steel scabbard original.
