Bayonets I got today

Got these at the flea market this morning.3 07's 1 4 15 dated,1 12 ?4 dated Sanderson,1 6 09 dated Wilkenson,Mk2 2 43 dated,Mk3 6 45 dated,No.9 Mk1 and leather scabbard,metal scabbard. Rich A. in Pa.

Hello-the 2 bottom bayos are Indian No.1 MkIII types-shortened locally made P07s with local shortened scabbards-the Mk9 goes with the metal scabbard-the short leather one is for various short P07 and related types like the Owen SMG bayo etc.

The No.9 bayonet is post WWII, and are quite common here, but without
their scabbards. I think they have been removed for use with WWII
Enfield No.7 'Jungle Carbine' bayonets, or some other type......

Lithgow,Thanks for the info. I bought the short one with the metal/leather scabbard because the scabbard is neat.
Walkwolf,Thanks. The guy has 40+ more bayonets,30 or so helmets and 3 plastic bins of field gear. I got the wing/USMC patches(posted in another section) from him also. Rich A. in Pa.

I also am in PA and hit the area flea market circuit for bayos and other militaria. But never have I come anywhere close to any of the deals you seem to find every other weekend!

Don't suppose you'd like to share the location of some of your secret amazing flea markets? (....Didn't think so...)

paladin1919,I live on the other end of the state. Near Allentown. This stuff and the stuff I posted in the Finds section all came from Jakes Flea Market on sunday morning. When you do go to the flea markets try to be there as soon as they open and bring a good flashlight. This morning I got to the Leesport Farmers Market about 5:00 A.M. or so. Rich A. in Pa.

Here is the scabbard. I thought it would fit the bayonet. I'll see him tomorrow and get the scabbard that fits. He said he will give me one. Rich A. in Pa.
