Default British P1887 Mk. III sword bayonet

    Hello everyone,

Another recent addition. A Wilkinson made British P1887 Mk. III sword bayonet without fullers. Apparently a lot of these made it out to the colonies and have nepalese / indian markings but this one doesn't. Strange G mark on the scabbard which I can't find any references to online. Its very heavy, I can't imagine you'd have much luck hitting anything past 50 yards with it fitted.

    Any comments welcome.

Thanks for the reply wizardman. I wasn't looking for one of these but my bayonet man waived it I front of my face and I couldn't refuse. All the other ones I've seen are a fair bit rougher.
