Saw this bayonet on gunbroker and was wondering what everyone thought of it. They say it’s a revolutionary war era bayonet. Is this an original bayonet to that era? Manufacturer is S&G Harvey and appears to have other markings on it. Thanks in advance.

Approximately correct era, but may never have seen service in North America, but somewhere else in the British Empire. Maker is Samuel & George Harvey who had a Board of Ordinance contract between 1779-1781. There appears to be a BoO mark (crown & faint numbers) under the 5 mark. Bit of a stretch to say it's "revolutionary war". Amercian's forget these were used all over the world.
