    Greetings, this my first post. i have just been given this bayonet from a friend who dug it up from his garden, he also dug up a Ducati motor bike at the same time!!! can anyone help with identifing it ??? i believe the handle could be bakelite, thanks in advance Glen.

    It's the remains of a curved blade 'yataghan' sword bayo for the Enfield, Snider or Martini Henry short rifles or cabines-mid to late 19th century-grips are leather that hardens over time to resemble plastic.

    What Ducati model did he dig up. You have any pics? I know it has not much to do with war relics, but I'm curious.
