Hi, how can you tell it is 1950s and not WW2?

The Canadian WW2 Longbranch marking is B superimposed on L.
Post war the factory was renamed Canadian Arsenals and the marking is A within C which is the tiny making under the No. 4 Mk. II marking in the original pics.
