never would have guessed it
Tony
Its serialed on pommel? Sorry about the shortening. what is now the blade lenght?
Hello
the blade length is 10 1/2 inches long and it does have a serial number
thank you
Tony
Not at all common, this example is possibly one that was refinished by the Germans at some point (the handle portion and screws/spanner nuts were originally polished steel/bright). From the way that the blade ricasso area is beveled it looks more likely to be of FN (Fabrique Nationale) manufacture with the blade tip reshaping appearing to be more recent. Best Regards, Fred
And what for serial number is on pommel? thanks.
Hello,
here is another shorted M24L.
Put in a unmarked S84/98 scabbard and a modified polish frog
