German Ersatz Bayonet ???

I have a bayonet here that I can not ID?
No maker marks that I can see.
It needs a good cleaning.

Its a British SLR bayonet.

Strange for it to be in such poor condition for a relatively recent bayo-may not be British though as the basic type was used by many countries, chiefly British Commonwealth-still in use now.

If there are no markings on it then it is Australian, not British.
