Hey,guys.I've always wanted to have the butcher sawback bayonet, finaly I got it!Unfortunately the condition is rough. But still I like it,it's just mean looking.
The markings are hardly visible, but I can see a crown W15 ... and on the blade Si... The biggest problem is that on one side of the handle, the wood was broken and it got replaced. But the seller kept the broken peace,so i asked him to send it.
Overall for a start i think it's not such a bad piece.

Nice display item...looks like someone polished up the blade a bit as well...I hope he sends you the missing piece so you can restore it!
    cheers, Glenn

The restoration wasn't a bad job, just not as tight fitting as
the original. Still, a nice sought after bayonet.........

Oh,so the blade was polished!?That explains the scratches. And I think i will try and find an original wood piece for the handle.
    Thanks guys.
    Cheers.
P.S. He sent me the missing piece Glenn it's on the last picture, but i don't think i will use it...
