    Hi, Pammy !

It is a 1891 Mauser bayonet from Argentina. The Germans manufactured
bayonets for export to many countries around the world...........

Happy Holidays to you too, Pammy !

    Nice present............!

This type was one of the first bayonets I ever bought back in the mid 1970's !
Mine had an aluminum grip. I think I paid $20 or $25 back then, so I'm sure
they have gone up a bit since - Maybe worth $70 to $100 ?
    Regards,

    Steve.

You should give them a big box marked 'Pammy' and tell them to put
anything military in it for you. Glad the bayonet went to you
and didn't end up at the Goodwill...............!

goodwill? really! I don't think goodwill would have taken that, but the collection guy may have, like STEVE said glad you saved that one, nice blade.
