Hi Brooker , i am impressed with your bayonet and the price paid ( you could not have got it from a dealer !! ) You will find frogs for these very hard to come by , especially in the conditio to match your example , but good luck in your search and let us know if you find one !

hi guys many thanks for the very nice comments on the bayonet, the bayonet did not come from a seller it came from someone who advertised it on a freeads site, the picture was a ropey one so i took a shot in the dark and paid over the monies, three days later my doormat was graced with this thing of beauty,i nearly wet my self when opening i thought this cant be that good but it was,the bayonet was going to be a xmas prezzy from my wife but i cant let it be wrapped up again so im trying to beg for it now fingers crossed once again thanks for the comments .
hi oradour your bayonet looks great when attatched to the rifle, you have a great collection there by the looks of it ,ive got a k98 rifle with the bnz code and the date 43 plus theres other markings,i .was told that the bnz code meant that it was made at a concentration camp is this true any help would be cool
That is not true. "bnz" is just the code for Steyr Daimler-Puch, Steyr, Ostmark, and was used 1941 to 1944.
Cheers, Ade.
