    Hello,

    here is a german trenchknife-bayonet combination, made like a temporary bayonet. This one has no maker mark, but the accaptence "Z" and it is made like Koeller marked examples. So the maker / assembler is most likely Koeller. Often Klaas delivered blades to Koeller.

    The press stud was never lacquered and is not magnetic.

    this bayonets were also used in the Reichswehr time.

    Here is a pic of a senior Nco of the Navy or Navy Infanterie with this out of 1921. On the hilt you can see the strap of a Navy Portepee.
