It is a WW2 Italian bayonet.
Model 1938.
There were 2 models. One with fixed blade and the other was a folder bayonet. Kind of like a large folding knife.
Do you have the scabbard?

Hello Phil,
many thanks, sadly i have only the Bayonet, no scabbard.
after your information i found the other version.
I own the fixed model.
Do you know perhaps what the number says?
Best Regards
I would imagine it is a production serial number. I don't have any production stats on how many were made. Semper Fi. Phil
Letter I and number, mostly the stamp in front of I letter is maker or italian proof, is fixed blade M1938 variation.
