i bought these at auction today

Article about: by cornishboy thanks guys,are these bayonets collectable.only id like to sell them on? Yes. The hooked bayo is rather uncommon.

    Question i bought these at auction today

    can anybody give any info on these bayonets bought at auction today? the lower bayonet is stamped 1907 sanderson,the middle is also stamped 1907 with what seems to be FFD,and im at a loss as to the top one so any knowledge most welcome.

    lower two are enfield bayonets,the one with the hook is type 1,other is type 2, upper one obviously is a socket bayonet,probably British, but lots of countries used this pattern and i cant distinguish one from the other unless it is marked or the blade length is the tell tale...

    Eric iv just looked up the Arisaka,and your right how similar they are!!

    They aren't Japanese. They are british, but they do resemble them. I believe the Sanderson is Australian issue. The 1907 is a 1907 Pattern (Hooked quillion) bayonet for the Lee Enfield. I think the far top is 1903?

    After looking more i agree with MILITARYMANIA These are british but at first it looks alot like my arisaka bayo. ERIC
