From what I have gathered this bayonet is a 1907 British pattern. Issued in November of 1917.
It has a bend mark and two view marks. Both Enfiled. There is also a war department stamp but from what I understand there should be a W and a D beside the arrow as was the new stamping after 1855. there is no traces that a WD was ever there. There is an unknown stamping above the bend mark, I believe it is AYM. not entirely sure.

The blade is 17 inches long and with the hilt it is 21.9 inches. The scabbard is 18 inches.

Any information and help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks again -Meg

Hi Meg, welcome to the Forum.

I believe 'Sanderson' is an Australian marking, and the
scabbard will have a round knob on it. Quite common,
these were readily available in mid-1970's Toronto
    at $5.00 apiece.........
    Regards,

    Steve.

The mark above the x looks like a inspection mark, I have a 1917 Sanderson bayonet will have a look if i have a similar mark.
I believe Sanderson is a British maker although i have seen a in few that were in aussie service
