These are still available new from the makers.

Have a look here under the military knives link. It's on the left hand menu.

This is the makers website but they are available elsewhere (probably at a cheaper price). They may well of made them as genuine Israeli issue knives in the past but nowadays they are just commercial items.

Isnt this an American KA bar fighting knife??

No, it's not a USN MKII "Ka-Bar", but it is based on a combination of the
U.S.A.A.C. knife with a 5" blade from WWII - similar to the original
"Marbles Ideal" pattern - and also the USN MKI & MKII or US-M3
utility/fighting knives' stacked leather handles, as well as the "Jet Pilot"
survival knife from the '50's which originally had a 6" blade.

It seems they have taken the best of all of these and rolled them into one,
with design modification/alteration. The crossguard here is the same relative
shape as the Pal "RH-36" knife of the WWII period, and the FS Commando
    dagger as well.........

    I'd guess this one has a 6" blade ? !

Very nice looking knife, but I agree - it's a comercial example.
The blade is too finely polished, and the leather scabbard
    is outdated.

    Regards,

    Steve.
