    It may be the pic's but that look pretty good to me. Congrats on adding that one to your collection.

    Indeed, looks like there is still a lot of bluing on the blade.
    The only real detractor is that someone sharpened it.

    I have one, perhaps not quite as nice due to the
    blade not having any finish left at all, and a lot
    more wear to the scabbard.

    IMO it´s quite possible, that my bayonet was sharpened in "these" day´s actually.

    I know to the true at heart bayonet collector, having the factory false edge present is ideal. BUT I personally feel that the added edge just made that pig sticker a knife and would have been more useful in the field.

    Yes, I´m not collecting bayonets any more, (I´m "doing" in combat and fighting knives for quite a while), but I had to buy this particular bayonet at all cost !

    I really do like this "been there, done that" -look !
