This is the M1891 Italian bayonet. They were used on the M91 Carcano rifle during WW1 & 2

Hi Zep, I have no way of knowing for sure, but in my experience early 1891's tend to have lighter colored grips and those just prior to, and including WWII, had the darker grips. Also, late 1941 or early 1942, the bluing had a "plumb" or purplish color. So, a wild guess would be just prior to, or early in WWII.

Normally there should be maker anywhere or some stamps on blade, crossguard, when PS in oval, it could be maker well known from M1938 bayonets, so the late interwar period or early WW2 is real.
