    Wanna show you the, (former), Kampfmesser of the (German) Bundeswehr, the "M 1968"

    This pattern knife was introduced in 1968, was in use till 1992, and was manufactured by several makers, (OFW, WKC, Robert Klaas, FKS, HSK, also WMF ? ...).

    Rumors say´s that knive´s, marked with HSK, were manufactured in Italy and were delivered from a trader in Nürnberg to the Bundeswehr ...

    overall lenght: ca. 26,5 cm
    blade lenght: ca. 14,3 cm
    width of the blade: ca. 2,6 cm
    thickness of the blade: ca. 4 mm

    This particular knife was made by Friedrich Koch, Solingen, Friedrichs-Werk, in 1969, (FKS 69).

    The M 1968 Bundeswehr Kampfmesser wasn´t really popular in the troops ...

    The grip plates are made of, (pretty fragile ...), olive-green plastic material.

    About Euro´s 20,-- (maybe 25,--) in an "1-A" condition, (here, in Austria ...).

    Nice one! Let's add some info for beginner collectors like myself was ones. The info about 'Miltec' company that makes commercial copies of this Kampfmesser 68. No history value, never were in service but would make a nice camping knife. At list I'm using it as camping tool O well

    Besides I'm looking for one made by Robi, for a friend of mine that collects only RC's items. If anyone has one for sale pls make me an offer, don't hesitate.
