Article about: i recently offered this knife for 75 dollars it is very nice but is it worth it in this condition ?? it isnt lose and grips are in good shape !!

    Can't really tell from the pics. Has the blade been blackened
    or the entire knife laquered ? - $75 is not bad, IMO.........

    Agreed. 75 seems to be a decent price given the pic. Especially if its lacquered and can be removed. you'll want to make sure the hanger is still there and the skin and insert of the scabbard still "hug" together nice. Also do research on the m1917 bolo. The m1910 should have a catch on the scabbard and the release on the back of the grip of the bolo.

    Hi Guys,

    I saw this thread on the forum and just wanted to say I have a M1917 model Bolo knife with the same experimental metal scabbard. These are rare items in the UK and the price reflects this - dealers charge on average £250 - £300.
