The meaning of the brand "J. D. R. A." - what can it mean?

Do you have a pic of this bayonet?
That would really help.
That is a long blade. So an oldie I definitely want to see that.

Yataghan! 1858 artillery sword British Army. R.A. for Royal Artillery?
-
A lot of nations made this type, but this does look like a British one.

Thank you for the additional picture.
With the blade dimensions given this bayonet is what I was thinking.
Would it be possible to see the markings?

Or pattern 1856 infantry sword bayonet. Without the British proof marks, I would suggest private purchase by Volunteer Militia. A lot of these type were made in Solingen and sold privately in Britain. Often without any marks. That mark escapes me, but I don't think it's Royal Artillery.

Well that's nice. You didn't mention other marks. So it has War Department marks after all. It would be helpful if you posted images of all marks at the beginning, rather than drip feeding photos. So it's not private purchase.
