NeedHelp ROSS fighting knife MK1 MK2
Article about: im trying to know is my one knife with the black scabbard is an MK1 ? marking not so clear look like m.K.1 or M.K 11 . but they are different .the one with out the scabbard is an MK2 product

after reading all the related matter on the internet i know now my knife with the scabbard is MK1. 1915
probably PAL conversation.they convert only mk1
but the marking on the scabbard i did not see any marking like that on any ross scabbards . only on British contract bayonets mk1 .
really like to get same more feedback

I have one in a scabbard, but have never really 'studied'
these, as they are simply converted bayonets - On one
website I read, they are refered to as 'hunting knives'.
I would be interested to see photos of them in use by
any Allied army - only to satisfy my curiosity as to
whether they were intended for issue, or civilian
sales only - note the 'Sold Out Of Service'
opposing arrow stamps on
the pommels.........
