Quick question when they say this is a 1896 m/1914 mauser what year is it. Is it an 1896 or is it made in 1914 ?

Made from 1914 for the m1894 Swedish Mauser carbine (issued to mounted troops initially without a bayo but the carbines were then modified to mount one from 1914 onwards)-the long infantry rifle is the m1896-these always had a bayonet from the beginning of production/service-this bayo is all metal with a hollow tube handle and a much shorter blade than the carbine m1914 bayo-there is a later even longer 'sword' carbine bayo for fortress and naval land troops.
